Patrick J. Stueve started his career clerking for the late United States District Court Judge John W. Oliver in the Western District of Missouri, Kansas City. He then joined the trial department of Stinson, Mag & Fizzell where he became partner in 1994. He was the youngest of six partners to leave Stinson, Mag in 1996 to found Berkowitz, Feldmiller, Stanton, Brandt, Williams & Stueve. Patrick had various management responsibilities at both firms. Pat received his B.A. in Economics, with distinction, from Benedictine College in 1984, and his J.D. from the University of Kansas (Order of the Coif) in 1987, where he was an editor of the Kansas Law Review and the Criminal Justice Review.

Norman E. Siegel started his career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri. In 1995, he joined the litigation department of Blackwell Sanders and in 1998 joined Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal. When Norm was promoted to partner at Sonnenschein in 2000 he was the youngest partner in the 600 lawyer firm. Norm received a degree in political science from Tufts University, and his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, where he was Articles Editor of the Washington University Journal of Urban Contemporary Law. Norm currently serves as Chairman of the Community Advisory Committee of the Healthcare Foundation of Greater Kansas City.

George A. Hanson started his career with Blackwell Sanders in the Labor and Employment Department. He was elected partner in 1999. George served as Chair of Blackwell's Hiring Committee in 2001. George received his B.A. from Oberlin College, with high honors, in 1988, and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota, cum laude, in 1992. For the past four consecutive years, George has been named “Best of the Bar” by the Kansas City Business Journal. In 2006, George was selected by his peers as a “Super Lawyer” for Missouri and Kansas. George is also rated AV - the highest designation a lawyer can achieve from publisher Martindale-Hubbell.

Todd M. McGuire started his career in the Kansas City office of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, one of the largest law firms in the country, in the litigation department, specializing in antitrust, white collar criminal defense and commercial litigation. In October 2001, Todd joined Stueve Siegel Hanson Woody LLP. In January 2005, Todd was elected to the Firm’s partnership. Todd received his B.A. in Rhetoric and Communications Studies from Drake University in 1996, summa cum laude, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Mortar Board and Omicron Delta Kappa. Todd was also an active member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. In 1999, Todd obtained his J.D., with highest honors, from Drake. Todd served as Editor in Chief of the Drake Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif.

Todd E. Hilton Todd started his career at the Kansas City office and national headquarters of Lathrop & Gage, L.C. At Lathrop, he specialized in products liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and consumer protection litigation. Todd joined Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP as an associate in October 2001. Less than five years after joining the Firm, Todd was elected to the Firm’s partnership as an equity partner. Todd received his B.A. in English and Philosophy, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1996. He received his J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University School of Law in 1999. He continues to grow his practice at the Firm and specializes in the areas of wrongful death and catastrophic injury litigation, class action litigation, and complex business litigation.

Virginia Stevens Crimmins, Associate. Ginnie received a B. A in 1998 from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia in International Relations and French where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Ginnie subsequently attended Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. During law school Ginnie was a member of Georgetown's Journal on Poverty Law and Policy and represented clients in Georgetown's Domestic Violence Clinic.

Matt L. Dameron, Associate. Matt graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law in 2002. During law school, Matt served as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Dispute Resolution, was a member of the Student Bar Association, and volunteered for the school's domestic violence clinic. Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the same institution. Prior to law school, Matt served as the Campaign Coordinator for Congressman Ike Skelton, and he worked for various other elected officials.

Eric L. Dirks, Associate. Eric focuses his practice on representing individuals and small businesses in state and federal courts across the country. Eric particularly enjoys litigating complex matters such as class actions and commercial disputes. Eric obtained his first multi-million dollar jury verdict this year with Pat Stueve in the matter captioned Overlap, Inc. v. A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.. In addition to his trial work, Eric also serves as lead and class counsel in several MDL and class action proceedings. Eric has also settled numerous class and collective actions and individual business disputes.

Jonathan H. Lehr, Associate. JL received a B.A. in Philosophy from Amherst College in 1992 where he was the 1992 Bradley Trophy recipient. After graduation he coached collegiate rowing for six years before attending law school. He received his J.D., with honors, from Georgetown University in 2001, and then began his legal career with a two-year clerkship for The Honorable Dean Whipple, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Following his clerkship, JL worked as an Assistant Jackson County Prosecutor in the Drug Unit and the White-Collar Crime Unit before joining the firm in 2007.

Richard (Rick) M. Paul III, Of Counsel was born in Orange, California. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia Honors College with a dual degree in Economics and Political Science. At the University of Missouri, Rick played on the Varsity Tennis Team and was named an All-Big 8 Scholar Athlete. He then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, where he was the Associate Managing Editor of the Missouri Law Review. In 2006, Missouri Lawyers Weekly selected Rick as one of its “Up and Coming Lawyers.” He has also been selected as a Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyer. Rick is rated AV -- the highest designation a lawyer can achieve from publisher Martindale-Hubbell.

Rachel E. Schwartz, Associate. Rachel started her career in the Dallas office of Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP on the complex litigation trial team, specializing in antitrust, securities, RICO and other business litigation. In 2004, Rachel joined Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP. Rachel received her B.A. with honors in Political Science, Economics and American Studies from the University of Kansas in 1998, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Mortar Board. In 2001, Rachel obtained her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served on the University of Michigan Journal of Law Review.

Ashlea G. Schwarz, Associate. Ashlea graduated from Kansas State University, suma cum laude, in 2004, with a B.A. in Mass Communications and German. While at K-State, Ashlea was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Golden Key. She received her J.D. from the University of Kansas in 2007. Ashlea was awarded the James P. Mize Award for Trial Advocacy and the Robert F. Bennett Award for Public Service upon graduation. She clerked for the Honorable Judge Julie Robinson, United States District for the District of Kansas from 2005-2006. Prior to joining the firm, Ashlea was an associate at the Miller Law Firm in Kansas City, Missouri, practicing in construction and commercial litigation. She is a member of the LAKC, KCMBA, and Missouri Bar Association.
